E-Bike Excursions in Tuscany.

Cycling, including riding an e-bike, is certainly the best way to really experience rural Tuscany and especially the Chianti Classico wine area. Cycling is environmentally friendly, it is quiet and it takes you back to the slower pace of life that we rarely experience these days. Chianti is a hilly area of ​​Tuscany, filling the triangle formed by the municipalities of Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti. This is the zone that gives life to production of the famous Chianti Classico wine, one of the wines most appreciated and sought after by wine-lovers.

Chianti is an ideal and wonderful area to tour by e-bicycle. The famous Eroica cycling event was born on these roads, a symbol of epic cycling during the early 1900's right up until today.

Travelling by electric bicycle in Chianti is an extraordinary experience that leaves the pleasant flavour of a return to the past, back to a cycling fatigue and dirt roads, pleasant encounters and glimpses of pristine landscapes.

Vineyards, ancient castles, abbeys, monasteries and especially the dense network of white roads (strade bianche) criss-crossing vineyard-covered hills and small villages of incredible charm, make Chianti a wonderful area to explore by bicycle or by e-bike.

We propose some e-bike routes, all of them personally tested, for either self-guided or guided e-bike excursions. Some are quite long and demanding, others are rides suitable for everyone. For each tour, we indicate an assessment of the difficulty of the route. With our e-bikes anyone, even the less energetic, can experience the wonderful feeling of "Made it".
